From our earliest settlers on we have admired Douglas Fir for it’s strength, stability and exceptional variety of grain and patina. We offer three types of flooring:
1 1/16” thick and our only “fresh-faced floor” made from the interior cuts of larger reclaimed timber. Milled smooth in widths from 4” to 10” and lengths to 20’ for those not wanting end-to-end joints.
1 ½” thick. We supply appropriately aged and distressed lumber with all the markings and patina of decades of previous use and weathering. Filling, sanding and finishing provides a stunning variety of red-brown and antique hues.
2” thick plank floors based on antique rough sawn lumber. This is our most authentic and oldest looking floor. The circular saw markings distinguish this floor as dating back to our earliest history in British Columbia. Widths from 4” to 20” possible, including all manner of defect ranging from worm holes to checks, from knots to nail holes to saw markings.
